Based in their Head Office in Auburn, the primary objective of this position is to grow the business in one of the rapidly growing regions. While working with a distribution network, the main focus will be on product end-user conversion in plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, Electrical including seismic application opportunities.

The position is an ideal transition role for an experienced and capable service technician who is interested in transitioning into a sales role, where you will be working with a distribution/fabrication network and focusing on product specifications and end-user contacts and new project opportunities.

Service and Sales Technician

  • Ordering/monitoring of spare parts for all machines, all parts
  • Managing stock control of equipment and spare parts
  • Managing a machine database for all machines in Australia
  • Supporting all regions with advice and collaboration on machine information and development
  • Coordinating with Sales Director on machine availability and updates
  • Monthly reports to Sales Director
  • Responsible for service shop working areas to be managed and kept in accordance with local safety guidelines and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Languages skills: English
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the machine service industry
  • Potential for good Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, Motivation for Sales
  • Energetic, highly-motivated personality and personable team player able to easily form relationships.
  • Ability to work from the local office or home office, where available.
