The Personnel Connection is a boutique Recruitment agency who supply both permanent and Temporary staff to our clients across Sydney since opening in 2000.

Working on a fixed term contract, for 30 hours a week, at this well-known private school on the Upper North Shore, you will have the opportunity to become permanent part-time.

Duties include:
• Participate fully in the maintenance of ovals, gardens and grounds as directed
• Ensure premises are kept tidy and free of litter, hazards and unauthorised material

To be considered:

  • You will have proven experience and have a good working knowledge of turf and plant management. A horticultural qualification will be well-regarded but is not essential.
  • Relevant experience and qualifications
  • Undertake training courses as required
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Appropriate physical fitness / capacity
  • Very good attention to detail
  • The ability to work unsupervised – as well as in a team when required – and in a safe manner consistent with WH&S and School requirements
  • A high standard of personal presentation, with a courteous and respectful manner
  • A current NSW drivers’ licence
  • Working with Children Check Clearance or be willing to apply for one
  • Availability to work between the hours of 6.00am and 12:00pm Monday – Friday

The role is classified as a Level 1 General Hand under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2017
The workplace is a smoke-free environment, and smoking is not permitted on the premises

Given the early start, we suggest that you have your own transport. However, the school is on a bus route.
